Firefly 2026 Creativity Grant Submissions Are Now Open and an Extension for the Temple Grant Deadline

Over the years, the Firefly Arts Collective (FAC) has been proud to provide grant support to Firefly artists to enable them to express and fulfill their varied creative visions. These grants are intended to support and promote radically-expressive, community-based, interactive and/or collaborative projects that help define and shape the creative core of the event.

We acknowledge that this is a difficult time for the community and the move to a new location brings with it a host of questions and unknowns. Art Grant Core is committed to helping art thrive in the new space and is excited at the possibilities that an entirely new venue presents.

Creativity Grants Are Open!

Art is a central part of Firefly, and it wouldn’t be the same without the wonderful pieces experienced at the event over the years. Bringing art is a great way to add a piece of yourself to the event and contribute/participate in a meaningful way.

We are now accepting applications for our primary grant category, the Creativity Grant! This grant is intended for all your ideas for new art – everything from traditional art like sculpture, to immersive spaces, to silly little games. For more details, check out the Creativity Grants page.

Creativity Grants are available in tiers from $150 to $3000. Please indicate which tier you are applying for in your grant application (you may apply for multiple tiers!).

There are a lot of unknowns about the event space this year. Where will the art live? How will placement work? Unfortunately, we don’t have the answers to all of that yet, so we ask that submissions take those unknowns into account. We’ll share whatever information we get when we get it, and remember that if you have questions, you can always ask us. We want to help however we can.

Temple Grant Reminder

We also want to announce that we’re pushing back the deadline for Temple Grants by two weeks. There have been a lot of things in flux recently, and it’s not surprising that we haven’t received any submissions yet. The temple is vitally important, especially this year, and we want to make sure that participants have the time they need to put something thoughtful together. The new deadline is 3/8/2026. As always, let us know if you have any questions!
